We have noticed during the last couple of years that actually we have more fans outside the Maryland area, and overseas, than with our original, rowdy, brother blog, "Alive In The Chesapeake." We have done significant soul-searching, and feel we need not only to expand the national/international scope of our blogging cause-but to also offer a tamer, PG version in order that a larger demographic can enjoy our artistic/written content/sponsored charities without having to go through an adult content gate-keeper, and be exposed to the occasional dirty words and sometimes bawdy photos.
We hope to evolve this new blog into more of an entire America/International blog, where a larger demographic will feel more comfortable with our educational/history/artistic/music content. Please be patient as we settle in to make the format/template more reader friendly, where we can also allow more links, and hopefully, appropriately, include a larger 'PG' audience. We hope you enjoy the new product-as usual your feedback is greatly appreciated.
And what have we learned after 4 years of blogging?
ReplyDeleteThe cream rises to the top.
We hope that we continue to improve for a more global audience. We just hate the fact that we live in a world where people were more offended by beautiful women and jokes than anonymous, petty jive crap that continues to keep Wicomico/Salisbury a toxic sore. My advice to you is continue work on your blog alone-your message is much more powerful than any of the little poseurs down there. BL.
ReplyDeleteI have taken to heart what you told me a month or so ago. 'Stick with what you do best'. I think about it everyday.
ReplyDeleteI like what you TTTF and Tim do infinetly better than anything most do. Michael also does a great job with Monoblogue, and even if you dont especially believe everything she endorses politically, you can't deny that RGC has an outstanding, dedicated blog-and even a sense of humor. In this 'less bawdy' forum, I am hoping to provide more links to people who probably didn't want to be tainted by AITC. It will take some time as I am starting a new career pursuit where I can actually genuinely help a much broader population of people who need additional support in a still deteriorating American economy {which presented itself exactly two days after I visited my sick aunt in the convent...howz' that for something to think about}, and trying to find some peace and stability in my personal life given the fact my support system is just shattered due to illness and invreasing age. That which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger, eh?? BL.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely.
